After approximately 3.5 to 4 hours of driving, you will arrive in Luxor. Once in Luxor City, follow the signs to 'Kornish Al Nile'. The Luxor Museum is located directly on this road, overlooking the Nile River. Look for the large sign that indicates the museum entrance.
Public Transportation (Bus)
To use public transportation, first find a bus terminal in New Valley that services trips to Luxor City. Buses are usually available throughout the day, and the journey takes around 4-5 hours. Confirm with the bus operator the final stop in Luxor. Once you arrive at the Luxor bus station, you can either take a taxi or walk to Kornish Al Nile, which is approximately 1.5 kilometers away. Taxis are readily available at the bus station; ensure you agree on a fare beforehand, typically around 30-50 EGP.
Taxi
If you prefer direct transportation, you can hire a taxi from any location in New Valley to take you straight to Luxor Museum. This option is more expensive but provides comfort and convenience, especially if traveling with luggage. The fare may vary, but expect to pay between 800 to 1200 EGP depending on your starting point in New Valley and negotiation skills. The taxi driver will take you to Kornish Al Nile, where you will see the museum.
Local Transport (in Luxor)
