Car
If you're driving from Aswan city center, head southeast on Corniche El Nile St toward Abtal El Tahrir St. Continue straight for about 4 kilometers, following the signs for the High Dam. Once you reach the roundabout near the entrance to the dam, take the second exit onto the road leading to the High Dam. Follow the road for another 2 kilometers. The High Dam will be on your right, with parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach the High Dam by public transport, start at the main bus station in Aswan. Look for buses or microbuses heading to the High Dam; they are usually labeled 'High Dam' or 'Saad Al Aali'. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Get off at the last stop, which is right at the entrance to the High Dam. From there, you can walk to the visitor center.
Taxi
If you prefer to take a taxi, simply hail one from anywhere in Aswan. Tell the driver you want to go to the High Dam (السد العالي). The ride should take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Agree on the fare before starting your journey to avoid confusion.
