From the Red Sea Coast, head northwest towards Luxor. Depending on your starting point, take the main highway (Qena-Luxor Road) which connects the Red Sea Coast to Luxor. The drive will take approximately 3-4 hours. Once you reach Luxor, follow signs to Deir el-Bahari, located on the west bank of the Nile River. You will need to cross the Nile via the ferry or bridge to reach the west bank. Once on the west bank, follow the signs to the Valley of the Kings, and Deir el-Bahari is located nearby.

Public Transportation
From the Red Sea Coast, you can take a bus from Hurghada or Safaga to Luxor. The bus journey will take around 4-5 hours. Upon arriving in Luxor, head to the Luxor bus station. From there, you can take a taxi or a local minibus to the west bank of the Nile. Ask the driver to take you to Deir el-Bahari, which is approximately a 30-minute ride from the Luxor bus station. Expect to pay a small fare for the taxi or minibus, typically around 20-50 EGP.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from the Red Sea Coast to Deir el-Bahari. This will be the most comfortable option, but also the most expensive.
