Public Bus

To take a public bus, you will need to reach the bus station in St. Catherine, located near Mount Sinai. Buses to Dahab leave regularly throughout the day. The journey takes about 2 hours and costs around 30-50 EGP (Egyptian Pounds). Make sure to confirm the departure time with the bus station staff, as schedules can vary. Once you arrive in Dahab, you can walk or take a taxi to your accommodation.

Taxi

For a more direct option, you can hire a taxi from Mount Sinai to Dahab. Agree on the fare before starting your trip; it should cost around 400-600 EGP for the one-way trip, depending on your negotiation skills and the taxi service. The drive will take approximately 1.5 hours. Taxis can be arranged through your hotel or local services.
