Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Siwa Oasis, head towards the main street (Sharia Al-Madina). Walk northwest until you reach the Siwa House Museum. Continue straight past the museum, and you’ll see the palm groves on your left. Keep walking until you reach the edge of the palm groves. Turn right and follow the path through the palm trees. After about 15 minutes, you will arrive at تمقرت, which is located near the outskirts of the grove.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Siwa Oasis. Start from the town center and head northwest on Sharia Al-Madina. Pedal towards the Siwa House Museum, then keep going straight until you reach the area of the palm groves. Take a right turn into the palm grove path and cycle through it for approximately 15-20 minutes until you reach تمقرت.

  • Horse or Donkey Cart

    Look for local stables or horse rental services in Siwa Oasis. Arrange for a horse or donkey cart ride starting from the center of Siwa. The driver should be familiar with the area. Ask to be taken towards the palm groves near the Siwa House Museum. Once you get close to the palm groves, the driver will take you along the paths leading to تمقرت, which should take around 20-30 minutes.
