From the center of Siwa Oasis (near the Shali Fortress), head southwest towards the main street (Shari' Al-Mahdi). Walk along this street for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction with Shari' Al-Nasr. At this junction, turn right and continue straight for about 15 minutes. You will pass by local shops and cafes, enjoying the local atmosphere. After about 15 minutes, you will notice a sign for Gabal Dakrur on your left. Follow this sign, which leads you onto a dirt path that will take you directly towards the base of the hill.
