Car
If you are driving from Luxor, take the Western Desert Road (Qena-Luxor road) until you reach the junction for the Nile Corniche. Turn left and continue heading north towards Cairo. As you approach Giza, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to the Giza Zoo, which is a landmark close to the museum. The museum is located at 6 Ahmed Shawky Street, just off Murad Street, directly in front of the Giza Zoo. Parking may be available near the zoo, but be prepared to pay a small fee for parking.
Public Transportation
To reach the Ahmed Shawky Museum using public transportation from Luxor, take a train to Cairo. The train journey takes approximately 9-10 hours and tickets can be purchased at the station or online. Once in Cairo, you can take the metro to Giza. Take Line 2 (the red line) and disembark at the Giza station. From there, you can either take a taxi or a local bus to reach the museum. The bus number 900 heads towards the Giza Zoo area. The museum is within walking distance from the bus stop. Ensure to carry some local currency to pay for bus fares.

If you're in Cairo, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing service (such as Uber or Careem) directly to the Ahmed Shawky Museum.
