If you are starting from Al Farafra, head north on the main road (Route 80) towards the White Desert. Follow the signs for another 10 kilometers to reach the main parking area near the park's entrance. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for desert terrain, as the roads can be rough and sandy.

To reach the White Desert from Al Farafra using public transportation, take a microbus or shared taxi from the center of Al Farafra heading towards Bahariya Oasis. Make sure to inform the driver that you are heading to the White Desert. The fare is typically around 50 EGP. After approximately 45 minutes, ask to be dropped off at the White Desert entrance. From there, you may need to hire a local guide with a 4x4 vehicle to explore the area further, which can cost around 500-1000 EGP depending on the duration and distance.
