If you are traveling by car, start from the main entrance of White Desert National Park. Head southeast toward the main road leading out of the park. When you reach the junction, take a right turn onto the road heading towards Al Giza Desert. Continue driving for approximately 30 kilometers. Look for signs indicating 'Eye rock formation' or GPS coordinates (27.3957852, 28.442093). Turn left at the marked dirt path which leads directly to the Eye rock formation. Please note that the last few kilometers may require a 4x4 vehicle due to rough terrain. Ensure your vehicle has sufficient fuel, as there are limited refueling options in the park.

For those using public transportation, take a bus or shared taxi from the nearest city (e.g., Farafra) to White Desert National Park. After arriving at the park entrance, you will need to arrange for a local guide or a 4x4 vehicle rental to reach the Eye rock formation. Many local guides offer transportation services, but it is advisable to negotiate the fare beforehand, which typically costs around 300 to 500 EGP for a round trip depending on the negotiation. The journey from the park entrance to Eye rock formation will take approximately 1-2 hours, depending on the road conditions.
