Walking
Parque Central is located at 4ta Calle Ote in Barrio San José, in the heart of Juayúa. From most points in the town center, it's easily accessible on foot. Simply head towards the most prominent church in town; the park is directly in front of it.
Public Transport
If arriving by bus from another town on the Ruta de las Flores, such as Sonsonate or Ahuachapán, the bus will drop you off near the town center. From the bus terminal, walk towards the main road and follow it to the town center. The park is a short 10-minute walk from the terminal. Bus fare from nearby towns is approximately $0.60.
Taxi
Taxis are available in nearby towns such as Sonsonate. A taxi ride from Sonsonate to Parque Central in Juayúa will cost approximately $15-$25 and take 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic. From within Juayúa, a short taxi ride to the park should cost around $5, with each KM costing $3.
Driving
If driving, head towards Juayúa in the Ahuachapan department. From the coastal region, take the CA-8 highway inland. Take the exit towards Juayúa. Once in Juayúa, follow the signs to the town center. Parque Central is located on 4ta Calle Ote in the Barrio San José area. Parking is available nearby for approximately $1-2.
