If you are driving from any location in the Eastern Region, head towards the town of San Miguel. From San Miguel, take the CA-1 highway heading west. Continue on this highway for approximately 2 hours until you reach the junction for the CA-8 road. Take the exit onto CA-8 towards Santa Ana. Follow CA-8 for about 30 minutes until you see signs for Parque Nacional Cerro Verde, which is located just off the road. Note that there may be a small entrance fee to access the park.

Once in San Miguel, look for a bus terminal where you can find buses heading towards Santa Ana, which will be marked as 'Santa Ana' or 'San Salvador'.
