    Start from the central area of Malabo, such as the Malabo City Hall. Head southwest on Avenida de la Libertad towards the coast. Continue walking until you reach the main road, Avenida de la Independencia. Turn right and walk along this road, enjoying the coastal views. After about 1 km, you will reach the intersection with Avenida de la Paz. Here, you can either continue straight or take a left. If you take a left, follow the road as it curves, then make a right towards the Pico Basilé trailhead, which is located near the local village of Nkoantoma. The trailhead is marked, and you should find signs indicating the direction to Pico Basilé.
