From the center of Adi Quala, head west on the main road towards the outskirts of the town. Follow the signs for Nefasit, which is approximately 10 kilometers away. Take the left path, which leads directly towards the monastery. The path will start to incline slightly as you approach the hills. After about 30 minutes of walking, you will reach Debre Bizen Monastery, which is nestled in a scenic area surrounded by nature. Make sure to take breaks to enjoy the landscape.

For those who prefer biking, rent a bicycle in Adi Quala. Start from the town center and head west on the main road toward Nefasit. The road is relatively flat but does have some gentle slopes. It is about a 10 km ride to the monastery. Keep an eye out for local traffic and be mindful of pedestrians. After about 30-40 minutes of biking, you will arrive at the monastery. The last stretch will have a slight incline, so be prepared for a little exertion before reaching your destination.

For adventurous tourists, consider hiking to Debre Bizen. From the center of Adi Quala, make your way west along the main road towards Nefasit. After about 3 kilometers, look for a hiking trail that leads up into the hills on your left. Take this trail, which is well-marked with local signage. It will take you through beautiful landscapes. Expect the hike to take about 1.5 to 2 hours, with some steep sections. Along the way, enjoy the views and the serene environment. The trail will eventually lead you to Debre Bizen Monastery.
