Car
If you are driving from Keren, head south on the main road (Route 1) for approximately 25 km. You will pass through several small villages. Once you reach the junction near Berekintiya, take the left turn onto a smaller road (unmarked) that leads towards the village. Continue on this road for about 5 km until you arrive at Erbaro, which is situated at coordinates 15.9091° N, 38.4638° E. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition, as some parts of the road may be unpaved.
Public Transportation
From Keren, you can take a public minibus or shared taxi heading towards Berekintiya. The fare is approximately 20 Nakfa. Inform the driver you are going to Erbaro. Upon reaching Berekintiya, you may need to hire a local taxi for the last 5 km to Erbaro. This taxi ride should cost around 50 Nakfa. Always confirm the price before starting your journey.
Walking
If you prefer to walk the last leg of your journey after reaching Berekintiya, you can do so. From the center of Berekintiya, head towards the smaller road leading to Erbaro. The walking distance is about 5 km. Make sure to carry water and wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain can be uneven.
