Continue straight until you reach the junction with 6th Avenue. Turn left onto 6th Avenue and walk for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the bus station at Adi-Quala. From the bus station, you can take a local bus heading towards Adi-Sheka. Ensure to inform the bus driver of your destination. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Adi-Sheka, you'll need to walk a short distance to reach the dam area.
Local Bus
From your location in central Asmara, make your way to the main bus terminal located near the post office. Look for buses labeled 'Adi-Sheka' or 'Adi-Quala'. Buses run frequently throughout the day. The fare is inexpensive, and the ride typically lasts about 30 to 40 minutes. Upon arrival in Adi-Sheka, you may need to ask locals for directions to the dam, as it might require a short walk from the bus stop.
Bicycle Rental

Start your journey from the central market area, cycling towards the outskirts on the main road leading to Adi-Quala. Follow the signs towards Adi-Sheka, which is about 15 kilometers from Asmara.
