7D/6N Eritrea Private Tour of 13 people May 23-29, 2026 Eritrea caught my heart by surprise! It is true, we fear or shun what we do not know or understand, and by this, I mean what the world hears about Eritrea— it is the total opposite! I found myself surprised every day by what Eritrea has to offer. They have everything a curious traveler like me wants to discover — history, culture, nature, unique architecture, coffee, hospitality and people. I really enjoyed the whole duration of my visit. What started as my personal bucket-list became a group tour where I made many new friends. Contacting Eritrea Visit through Phil was the be y decision ever. He made sure we enjoyed our stay, felt safe and take cared of. His team of drivers and guides were all exceptional! Our days were filled with so much things to see and experience. For me, Eritrea makes it to my list of favorite African countries!

I joined this tour after a post on MTP and it was pretty easy to communicate with Phil to obtain visa and answer questions. I am so glad that I have done this trip and gained lots of friends and it was perfect timing to visit during the 35th anniversary for the independence of Eritrea. I felt safe and the itinerary was spot on with the only regrets that I should have stayed a day or two more to enjoy the delicious coffee and relax in the beautiful and clean city of Asmara. Big shout to the team especially Samuel. Obviously, my thanks to Aimee and the group for a wonderful time . 🙏🏽

⸻ An Exceptional and Unforgettable Journey Through Eritrea My trip to Eritrea was truly more than great—it was exceptional in every sense. From the very beginning, the experience was outstanding thanks to Mr. PHILEMON who handled the booking. He is a wonderful person: extremely responsive, professional, respectful, and genuinely dedicated. His quick and thoughtful communication from the start gave me the confidence to visit Eritrea, and I can say the reality exceeded all my expectations. The journey itself was incredible. We explored not only the capital, Asmara, but also Massawa and the stunning landscapes in between. Asmara is a unique city, rich in culture and history, with its fascinating mix of churches, mosques, a synagogue, local markets, and beautiful architecture influenced by Italian and other styles. Walking through the city felt like stepping into a living museum. Everything was perfectly organized, including the great guide who accompanied me Mr XEHAYE ( TK ) an excellent choice. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience even more enjoyable. One of the most special parts of the trip was the opportunity to visit local homes, experience traditional food, and learn about customs and folklore firsthand. Nothing was overlooked. Massawa was equally impressive, offering a completely different atmosphere. The journey between the two cities revealed breathtaking landscapes. In Massawa, beyond the charm of the city itself, I was deeply moved by visiting a very old mosque with significant historical importance in Islamic culture. What struck me most about Eritrea is the harmony between religions—Christianity, Islam, and Judaism coexist in a peaceful and respectful way. It’s truly inspiring, and one can only wish this model of coexistence existed more widely in the world. I highly recommend anyone planning to visit Eritrea to travel with this team. It made all the difference and turned a great trip into an unforgettable one SHERIF EGYPT
