Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with 'Abraham' Avenue. At this junction, turn left onto 'Abraham' Avenue. Follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. After 2 kilometers, the road will begin to incline slightly. Keep an eye out for a sign that indicates the direction to Mariam Debresina Monastery. Continue walking for another 500 meters until you reach a small path on your right leading towards the monastery. The path will take you directly to Mariam Debresina Monastery, which is situated on a small hill.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Keren. Begin your journey at the Keren Market and cycle north along 'Hamelmal' Street. After about 1.5 kilometers, turn left onto 'Abraham' Avenue. Continue cycling on 'Abraham' Avenue for approximately 2 kilometers. As you cycle, enjoy the local scenery. After 2 kilometers, look for a sign indicating the direction to Mariam Debresina Monastery. At this point, you will need to navigate a slightly uphill path. Cycle for another 500 meters, where you will find a small road on your right that leads directly to the monastery. Please be cautious as the path may be uneven.

Ask for a minibus or shared taxi heading towards Elabered, as this is the nearest town to Mariam Debresina Monastery. Once you board, inform the driver of your destination. It’s advisable to ask the driver to drop you off near the junction of 'Hamelmal' Street and 'Abraham' Avenue. From there, you will need to walk the remaining distance of about 2.5 kilometers. Follow 'Abraham' Avenue until you reach the small path on your right leading to the monastery.
