Walking
From the center of Mendefera, start at the main market square where you will see vendors and shops. Head towards the main road (the one that leads out of the town) and follow it north. Keep an eye out for local landmarks like the Mendefera Catholic Church on your right; this will help you stay oriented. Continue walking straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Mendefera. Here, you will begin to notice signs pointing towards Asmara. Follow these signs, and eventually, you will merge onto a larger road. Keep walking for approximately 5 kilometers. As you walk, you will see small villages and the beautiful Eritrean landscape. After 5 kilometers, you will reach a point where the road forks; take the left branch. Continue for another 2 kilometers until you reach the Keshi Ftsum building. The building is located at coordinates 15.3087404 latitude and 38.8552439 longitude, making it easy to identify as you approach.
