If you are driving from Alutaguse, start by heading southwest on the main road (Tallinn-Narva Road, E20) towards Jõhvi. After about 15 kilometers, take the exit towards Kurtna. Follow the signs and turn left onto Kurtna tee. Continue on Kurtna tee for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach Kurtna Mõis, located at Kurtna tee 14. There is usually free parking available near the site.

To reach Kurtna Mõis via public transport, first make your way to the nearest bus stop in Alutaguse that services the Jõhvi route. Board a bus heading towards Jõhvi. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Kurtna bus stop. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk to Kurtna Mõis along Kurtna tee. There is no direct public transportation to the site itself, so be prepared for a short walk. The bus fare is generally around €2-€3.
