Car
From Alutaguse, take the E20 highway heading west towards Tallinn. Continue on E20 for approximately 118 kilometers (about 1 hour and 30 minutes). Take the exit toward Tallinn/Tartu and merge onto the Tartu highway (E263). After about 10 kilometers, follow the signs for Pirita and turn onto Merivälja tee. Follow Merivälja tee for about 6 kilometers until you reach the Pirita Convent Ruins located at Merivälja tee 18, 11911 Tallinn. Parking is available near the site, but be aware of any parking fees that may apply.
Public Transportation
Start at the Alutaguse bus station and take a bus to Tallinn (the journey is approximately 2-2.5 hours depending on the service). Upon arriving at the Tallinn bus station, head to the tram stop and take Tram 1 or Tram 2 towards Kadriorg. Get off at the 'Pirita' stop. From there, you can either walk (approximately 20 minutes) or take a local bus (number 21 or 21B) to the Pirita Convent Ruins. The bus stop is located just a short walk from the tram stop. Bus tickets can be purchased at kiosks or via a mobile app, and costs about 2 euros.
