If you are driving, start from the center of Alutaguse. Head south on the main road (Tallinn - Narva highway, E20) for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the exit for Imatu. Take the exit and turn right onto Imatu Road. Continue for about 5 kilometers, and you will arrive at Alutaguse National Park and Imatu Lake area, where the unique continental dunes and cliffs are located. Parking is available at the designated areas.

To reach Alutaguse National Park and Imatu Lake using public transportation, take a bus from Alutaguse to the nearest bus stop in Imatu. Check local bus schedules for the latest timings as they may vary. Once you arrive at the Imatu bus stop, it is a short 1 kilometer walk to the park entrance. Follow Imatu Road south, and you will see signs directing you to the park. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes for walking.
