From the main entrance of Haapsalu Castle, head towards the castle courtyard. Once you are in the courtyard, look for the exit on the eastern side. As you exit the castle, turn left onto Lossiplats street. Continue walking straight for about 200 meters. You will see Vabadussõja mälestussammas (the War of Independence Memorial) located on your right, just before reaching the end of Lossiplats street.
