If you are starting from Haapsalu's town center, head towards the main street, Läänemere tee. Walk along Läänemere tee heading southwest until you reach the intersection with Promenaadi. Turn left onto Promenaadi, which runs parallel to the waterfront. Continue walking along Promenaadi for about 1 kilometer, enjoying the scenic views of the bay on your right. As you approach the end of the promenade, you will see the entrance to Haapsalu muul on your left, situated along Läänemaa Tervisetee.

For those with access to a bicycle, start at the central square in Haapsalu. Cycle down Läänemere tee towards Promenaadi. Take left onto Promenaadi and continue along the waterfront. The cycling path will lead you directly to Haapsalu muul. Make sure to enjoy the beautiful coastal views as you ride. You will find the entrance to Haapsalu muul on your left as you approach the end of the promenade.
