Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Haapsalu Town Hall, head southwest on Rüütli Street towards the sea. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront promenade. Turn left onto the promenade and walk along the coast for about 500 meters. You will pass by the beautiful seaside views and eventually see the castle on your right. Follow the signs leading to Lossiplats, and you will arrive at Haapsalu Castle located at Lossiplats 3.

If you are near the Haapsalu bus station, take a local bus heading towards the center of Haapsalu. Get off at the 'Lossiplats' stop. From there, walk a short distance towards the castle, which will be directly ahead. Look for the large stone walls of the castle, and you will find the entrance at Lossiplats 3.

For those renting bicycles, start from the central park area (Kesklinna park). Head towards the main road, turning onto Rüütli Street, then take a right towards the waterfront.
