If you're driving, head towards Tallinn on the E263 highway. Once you reach the city, follow the signs for 'Kesklinn' (City Center). As you approach the city, take the exit toward 'Toompea'. Continue following the road until you see signs for 'Toompea Castle'. There is parking available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking restrictions.
Public Transportation
To reach Toompea Castle by public transportation, you can take tram number 1 or 3 from various points in Harju County, heading towards 'Tallinn Kesklinn'. Get off at the 'Tallinn, Toompea' stop. From there, it’s a short 5-minute walk. Follow the signs towards 'Toompea Castle', walking up the hill on Lossi plats. The castle is located at Lossi plats 1a, 10137 Tallinn.
Walking
If you are already in central Tallinn, you can easily walk to Toompea Castle. From the Town Hall Square, head east on Raekoja plats, then turn right onto Munga Street. Continue walking straight until you reach Lossi plats. The castle is located at the end of the square. This walk should take about 15-20 minutes.
