Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Tallinn. Head southeast on Narva Maantee (Route 1) towards the city center. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at Vabaduse Väljak. Take the second exit onto Toompea Hill, then follow the road downwards. Merge onto Viru Street (Viru tänav) and continue until you see the Viru Gate on your left. There is parking available nearby at the Viru Center shopping mall.

Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take tram number 1 or 2 from Tallinn's central train station (Tallinna Balti Jaam). Travel towards the direction of 'Kopli' for tram 1 or 'Tondi' for tram 2. Get off at the 'Viru' stop. From there, walk straight down Viru Street (Viru tänav) for about 5 minutes until you reach the Viru Gate. You will see the gate on your right side.
