If you are using public transportation, take a bus to Kärdla from other towns in Hiiumaa. Once you arrive at the Kärdla bus station, you can walk to the Hiiumaa sign. Head southeast on Pikk Street (Pikk tn) and turn right onto Heltermaa mnt. Walk for approximately 2 kilometers; the sign will be on your left at Heltermaa mnt 16. Walking may take around 25 to 30 minutes.
