Car
If you're traveling by car, head towards Põltsamaa from anywhere in Jõgevamaa. Use the main roads: from Tartu, take the E263 highway towards Jõgeva and then follow the signs to Põltsamaa. Upon entering Põltsamaa, follow Lossi Street, and you will find Põltsamaa Muuseum ja Turismiinfopunkt at Lossi tn 1b, located on your left. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of any local parking regulations.

Public Transportation
To reach Põltsamaa by public transportation, look for buses heading to Põltsamaa from larger towns such as Tartu or Jõgeva. Once you arrive at the Põltsamaa bus station, exit the station and head west on Lossi Street. Walk for approximately 10 minutes until you reach Lossi tn 1b. The museum and tourist information point will be on your right. Bus tickets usually cost around €2-€5 depending on the distance.

If you are already in the center of Põltsamaa or nearby, you can easily walk to the museum and tourist information point. From the main square, head towards Lossi Street and walk approximately 800 meters. The museum is located at Lossi tn 1b, on the left side of the street. It should take about 10 minutes on foot.
