Public Transport
From Kärdla, head to the Kärdla Bus Station located at Keskväljak 1. Look for the bus services that head towards Heltermaa. The bus route is often listed as 'Kärdla – Heltermaa'. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride, which typically takes around 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Heltermaa bus stop, disembark. The Heltermaa punamonument is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head south on Heltermaa-Kärdla-Luidja road. The monument is situated along this road. Follow the signs or ask locals if you need further directions.
Walking
If you prefer to walk to Heltermaa punamonument, start from the center of Kärdla. You can begin at the Kärdla Town Hall (located at Keskväljak 2). From there, head towards the main street (Tallinna mnt) and follow it until you reach the intersection with Heltermaa-Kärdla-Luidja road. Turn left onto Heltermaa-Kärdla-Luidja road. Walk straight for about 5 kilometers, enjoying the picturesque landscapes along the way. The punamonument will be on your right side as you approach Heltermaa.
