Turn left onto Pikk Street and continue walking until you reach the end of the street where it intersects with Kooli Street. At this point, you will see a sign for the local park. Follow Kooli Street, which will eventually turn into Tahkuna Road. Continue straight on Tahkuna Road for approximately 4 kilometers. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the direction to Mälestusmärk Estonial hukkunud lastele. The memorial is located on the right side of the road, and you can spot it from a distance due to its distinct structure. The total walking distance is about 5 kilometers, and it should take you roughly 1 hour to reach your destination.

If you're renting a bicycle in Kärdla, begin at the Kärdla Bus Station and head towards Aia Street. Cycle north on Aia Street until you reach the intersection with Pikk Street.
