Walking
From the center of Kärdla, head east on Pikk Street towards the intersection with J. Kuperjanovi Street. Continue straight onto Pikk Tükk Street. When you reach the Tammiku Street intersection, turn left. Follow Tammiku Street until you reach the Kärdla Bus Station. From the bus station, catch a bus heading towards Vahtrepa. Once you arrive in Vahtrepa, walk north on the main road (Vahtrepa Road) for approximately 1.5 km. Ĺõuka tuulik will be on your right side. Look for the windmill; it is a prominent feature in the area.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Kärdla. Start at the Kärdla harbor and head north towards the center of the town. Take Pikk Street east until you reach J. Kuperjanovi Street, then continue onto Pikk Tükk Street. At the Tammiku Street intersection, turn left and follow Tammiku Street to the Kärdla Bus Station. From there, you can bike north on Vahtrepa Road for about 1.5 km, and you will see Ĺõuka tuulik on your right. This route offers a scenic view of the countryside.
Public Transport
From Kärdla, you can take a bus to Vahtrepa. Make your way to the Kärdla Bus Station, which is located in the town center on J. Kuperjanovi Street. Check the bus schedule for the next departure heading towards Vahtrepa. The bus ride typically takes around 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Vahtrepa bus stop, exit the bus and walk north along Vahtrepa Road for approximately 1.5 km. Ĺõuka tuulik will be located on your right side.
