Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start from any location in Lääne County and head towards the city of Tallinn. Follow the signs for Tallinn on the main roads. Once you reach Tallinn, take the Tartu highway (E263) and follow it until you see the signs for Lahemaa National Park. The park's entrance is approximately 70 kilometers from Tallinn. Make sure to have a GPS device or a map app handy to navigate through the local roads leading to the park. Parking is available at various entrances to the park, but check if any fees apply.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  For those using public transport, head to the nearest bus station in Lääne County. Look for bus companies like Lux Express or Simple Express, which operate routes to Tallinn. Once in Tallinn, transfer to a bus that goes to Lahemaa National Park; buses to the park typically leave from the Tallinn bus station. The journey from Tallinn to Lahemaa takes about 1.5 hours. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, and purchase your tickets either online or at the station. A ticket will typically cost around €5 to €10.
