Journey Through Time at the Railway and Communications Museum

Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Haapsalu from your location in Läänemaa. Use the E263 road, which is well-marked. Once you reach Haapsalu, follow the signs to the city center. The Railway and Communications Museum is located at Raudtee 2, which is just off the main road in Haapsalu. Look for parking spaces near the museum as street parking is usually available. The museum is a short walk from most central locations.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, check the local bus schedules to find a route to Haapsalu. Buses frequently run from various towns within Läänemaa to Haapsalu. Once you arrive at the Haapsalu bus station, the museum is approximately a 15-minute walk. Exit the bus station and head northeast on Tallinna mnt towards Pika street. Turn left onto Pika street, then take a right onto Raudtee street. The museum will be on your left at Raudtee 2.

• Walking from Haapsalu City Center

  If you are already in Haapsalu city center, you can easily walk to the Railway and Communications Museum. Start from the central square (Hiiu street) and head north towards Tallinna mnt. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Pika street. Turn right on Pika street, then take a left onto Raudtee street. The museum is located at Raudtee 2, just a short walk away.
