Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Lahemaa National Park. Use the main road, Route 1 (E263), and drive towards Kuusalu. After approximately 25 kilometers, take the exit towards Kuusalu and follow the signs for Kuusalu town. Once in Kuusalu, follow the main road until you reach the intersection with Põhja Street. Turn onto Põhja Street and continue driving for another 2 kilometers. You will see signs for Hara Suurkivi on your left. Park in the designated area nearby.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Hara Suurkivi via public transportation, start by taking a bus from the nearest bus station in Lahemaa. Look for a bus heading towards Kuusalu. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Kuusalu, you will need to walk about 2 kilometers to reach Hara Suurkivi. From the bus stop, head north on Põhja Street and follow the signs towards Hara Suurkivi. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may be limited, especially on weekends.

• Walking from Kuusalu

  If you're already in Kuusalu and prefer walking, the hike to Hara Suurkivi is around 2 kilometers. Start at the town center and head north on Põhja Street. Follow the road as it winds through the countryside. The path is relatively flat and well-marked, making it suitable for all walking levels. This option allows you to enjoy the natural scenery along the way.
