Car
If you are traveling by car, head to Käsmu from the main road in Lahemaa National Park. From the Tallinn-Narva highway (E20), take the exit towards Lahemaa National Park. Follow the signs for Käsmu, which is approximately a 40-minute drive from the highway exit. When you reach Käsmu, look for Merekooli 1, where the museum is located. There is parking available near the museum.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Tallinn to the town of Võsu, which is the nearest town to Käsmu. Buses run regularly from the Tallinn bus station. Once in Võsu, you will need to take a local taxi or check if there are any local buses that can take you to Käsmu. The taxi ride from Võsu to Käsmu takes about 15 minutes. It is advisable to check the bus schedules in advance for the best connections.
Walking
If you are already in Käsmu, and want to enjoy the scenery, you can walk to the Käsmu Maritime Museum. The museum is within walking distance if you are in the village, located at Merekooli 1. Just follow the local roads leading to the seaside, and you will find the museum easily.
