If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards the town of Toolse from anywhere in Lahemaa National Park. Use the main highway (E263) heading towards Rakvere. After about 20 kilometers, take the exit towards Toolse (signposted). Continue straight on the local road for about 5 kilometers until you reach Toolse. The fortress will be visible as you approach the village. Parking is available near the fortress.

Check the local bus schedule for routes heading towards Toolse, as services may be limited. Once you arrive at the Toolse bus stop, the fortress is about a 10-minute walk.
