Getting There

Bus
From Pärnu city center, head to the local bus station (Pärnu Bussijaam). Purchase a ticket for a bus heading to Haapsalu. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Haapsalu bus station, exit the bus and head towards the main road (Tallinna mnt). Turn left and walk for about 10 minutes until you reach Lossiplats street. Follow Lossiplats street, and you will find Haapsalu Castle on your right.

Although there are no direct train services from Pärnu to Haapsalu, you can take a train from Pärnu to the nearest station, which is in Riia. From Riia, take a bus to Haapsalu. When you arrive in Haapsalu, walk from the bus station to Lossiplats street, which should take about 10 minutes, and you will see Haapsalu Castle.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Pärnu. Take the road leading northwest out of Pärnu (Pärnu-Tabivere road), and follow the signs towards Haapsalu. The ride is approximately 40 kilometers and takes around 2 to 3 hours. Once you arrive in Haapsalu, follow the signs to Lossiplats street, where Haapsalu Castle is located.
