If you are starting from the Pärnu Bus Station, exit the station and head south towards Tallinn Street. Turn left onto Tallinn Street and walk straight for about 1 kilometer. You will pass various shops and cafes along the way. Continue walking until you reach Turu Street, then turn right. Rüütli plats will be on your left after a few hundred meters, just before the intersection with Rüütli Street.

From there, continue on the promenade until you reach the main road, then turn left onto Rüütli Street. Walk straight for about 500 meters, and you will find Rüütli plats on your right.
