Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Pärnu. Head east on Rüütli Street towards the end of the street, where it turns into Suur-Jõe Street. Continue straight, following signs for Pärnu Highway (Tallinna mnt / E263). After about 3 km, you will reach the roundabout near the Pärnu river. Take the second exit onto Pärna Street and continue straight. The Lydia Koidula monument is located in the park on the right side of the road, just past the intersection with Aida Street. There is free parking available in the nearby area.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a bus to Pärnu city center. The Pärnu bus station is located at Tammiste Street 1. From there, you can walk to the Lydia Koidula monument, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Head east on Rüütli Street, then turn right onto Suur-Jõe Street. Continue straight until you reach the park on the right side, where the monument is located. Alternatively, you can catch a local taxi from the bus station if you prefer not to walk.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to explore Pärnu by bicycle, there are bike rental services available in the city center. Rent a bike and cycle east along Rüütli Street. Follow the same route as outlined for cars. The ride is about 3 km and takes approximately 15-20 minutes. There are bike racks available near the Lydia Koidula monument for you to securely park your bicycle.
