Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Põlva town center. Head southeast on Põlva - Räpina Road (Road 62) towards Räpina. Continue on this road for about 12 kilometers. When you reach the junction with the Tartu - Võru Road (Road 4), turn left onto it. After approximately 5 kilometers, take the exit toward Süvahavva. Follow the signs for Süvahavva and drive for another 3 kilometers. You will arrive at Uku koobas located at Süvahavva, 64220 Põlva County. Parking is available near the entrance.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a local bus from Põlva bus station to Süvahavva. Check the bus schedules for any updates, but buses typically run several times a day. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Süvahavva, it's a short walk (approximately 10 minutes) to Uku koobas. Follow the main road until you see the signs for Uku koobas. Be sure to check the return bus times to avoid being stranded.
