Car
If you're traveling by car within Põlvamaa, start from the center of Põlva town. Head southeast on the Põlva-Kanepi road (Route 222). Continue driving for about 15 km until you reach the Varbuse junction. Turn left onto Varbuse Road and follow the signs for the Estonian Road Museum. The museum is located at Varbuse, Kanepi vald, 63122, and there is free parking available on-site.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a bus from Põlva bus station to Kanepi. Check the local bus schedule for the most current times. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Kanepi, you can either walk (about 3 km) or take a local taxi to the Estonian Road Museum. The taxi ride will cost around €5-€10 depending on the local rates.
Walking from Kanepi
