Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Rapla, head towards the bus station located at Tallinna mnt. Exit the bus station and turn left onto Tallinna mnt. Walk straight for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Jüri Jaansoni tn. Turn right onto Jüri Jaansoni tn and continue walking for about 600 meters. You will come to the Rapla railway station. From the station, you can take a train to Tallinn. Make sure to check the train schedule for the next available train. The journey to Tallinn takes approximately 1 hour.

    After arriving at the Tallinn railway station, exit the station and head towards the city center. Follow the signs to the Old Town. Walk straight down the main road (Liivalaia tn) for about 800 meters until you reach the intersection with Pärnu mnt. Cross the street and you will see a large park on your left. Continue walking straight for another 500 meters and you will reach the Toom-Kooli tn. Turn left onto Toom-Kooli tn and walk about 200 meters to find St Mary's Cathedral at Toom-Kooli tn 6.

    Once you are at the Tallinn railway station, you can also catch tram number 2 or 4 towards the city center. Get off the tram at the 'Vabaduse väljak' stop. From there, walk towards the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and then follow the road to the left until you reach Toom-Kooli tn. The cathedral is approximately a 10-minute walk from the tram stop, and you will find St Mary's Cathedral at Toom-Kooli tn 6.
