Walking
Start at the Rapla bus station. Head east on Tartu Street (Tartu tänav) until you reach the roundabout. Take the first exit onto Tallinna Street (Tallinna tänav). Continue straight along Tallinna Street until you reach the intersection with Pärnu Road (Pärnu maantee). Cross Pärnu Road and follow the signs for Pahkla (Pahkla suunas). After approximately 1.5 km, you will reach the village of Pahkla. Pahkla Suurkivi is located in a scenic area just off the main path, look for signs directing you to the landmark.
Cycling
Rent a bicycle in Rapla and start from the Rapla bus station. Head east on Tartu Street (Tartu tänav) and proceed to the roundabout, taking the first exit onto Tallinna Street (Tallinna tänav). Continue cycling on Tallinna Street until you come to Pärnu Road (Pärnu maantee). Cross the road and follow the signs towards Pahkla (Pahkla suunas). It's about a 6 km ride to reach Pahkla village. Once in the village, look for Pahkla Suurkivi, which is well-marked and located in a picturesque setting.
Public Transport
From Rapla, walk to the bus station and take a bus heading towards Pahkla. Buses may not run frequently, so check the schedule beforehand. Once you arrive in Pahkla, you will need to walk approximately 1 km to reach Pahkla Suurkivi. Follow the main path towards the village center and look for signs leading to the stone. It’s a scenic walk that will take you through the nature surrounding the area.
