If you're traveling by car, start from Kuressaare, the capital of Saare County. Head north on the Pöide road (Route 78) for approximately 25 kilometers. When you reach the intersection near the village of Kaali, turn left onto Kaali road (Route 78). Continue for about 7 kilometers until you reach the Kaali kraater parking area. There is no parking fee, and the kraater is within a short walking distance from the parking lot.
Public Transportation
To reach Kaali kraater using public transportation, take a bus from Kuressaare to Kaali. Buses run several times a day, and the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. You can check the local bus schedules for accurate timings. Once you arrive at the Kaali bus stop, it is about a 1-kilometer walk to the kraater. Follow the signs towards the kraater, and you will be there in approximately 15 minutes. Make sure to check the return bus schedule to avoid being stranded.
