Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards Valjala from Kuressaare, the capital of Saare County. Take the main road, Route 10, heading northeast. After approximately 21 kilometers, you will reach the intersection with Route 78. Turn left onto Route 78 and continue for about 6 kilometers. You will see signs for Valjala. As you enter the village, follow the signs for Kiriku tee, where the Valjala Church is located at Kiriku tee 6. There is parking available near the church.
Public Transportation
To reach Valjala by public transportation, take a bus from Kuressaare to Valjala. Buses run several times a day; check the local bus schedule for exact times. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Valjala, walk towards Kiriku tee, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. The Valjala Church will be on your left at Kiriku tee 6. Be sure to check bus schedules in advance as they may vary and some routes may require transfers.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi. You can book a taxi in Kuressaare to take you directly to Valjala Church. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes and will cost around 25-35 euros depending on the time of day and traffic. Always confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
