Car
From Kuressaare, head southeast on Tallinna maantee (Route 10) towards the town of Leisi. Continue straight for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the junction with Sääre Road (Sääre tee). Turn left onto Sääre Road and follow it for about 15 kilometers. You will see signs for Sõrve Lighthouse. The lighthouse is located at Sääre, 93249 Saare County. There is ample parking available near the lighthouse.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from Kuressaare to Leisi. Buses are operated by the Estonian public transport system and run several times a day. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Leisi, you can either walk (about 6 kilometers) or take a taxi to Sääre Road (Sääre tee) where you will find signs leading to Sõrve Lighthouse. Alternatively, check for local taxis or rideshare options that can take you directly to the lighthouse from Leisi.
Bicycle
If you're an adventurous cyclist, you can bike from Kuressaare to Sõrve Lighthouse. Follow the same route as by car, using Tallinna maantee (Route 10) and then turning onto Sääre Road. This route is about 40 kilometers and will take approximately 2-3 hours depending on your cycling speed. Be sure to bring water and snacks, as there may not be many stops along the way.
