Car
If you are driving, head towards Linnuse from anywhere on Saaremaa Island. Use the main roads such as Route 10 (Kuressaare - Orissaare Road) or Route 158 (Kärla - Linnuse Road) to reach the vicinity of Linnuse. Once you get close to Linnuse, follow the signs to Väinatamm, which is located near the coast connecting Saaremaa to the mainland. There is free parking available in the area.
Public Transportation
Take a local bus to Linnuse from Kuressaare, which is the main town on Saaremaa Island. Check the local bus schedule for departure times, as they may vary. Once you arrive in Linnuse, Väinatamm is within walking distance. Simply follow the signs towards the coast, and you will find the bridge connecting Saaremaa to the mainland. The bus fare is typically around €2 to €3.
Bicycle
For a more adventurous option, you can rent a bicycle in Kuressaare and ride to Väinatamm. The bike ride is around 30 km and will take you through beautiful landscapes.
