Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Kuressaare, the capital of Saaremaa. Head northeast on Tallinna mnt (Route 10) for approximately 25 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 14. Turn left onto Route 14 and continue for about 30 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Kiipsaare lighthouse. You will need to turn onto a smaller road leading directly to the lighthouse after passing through the village of Kiipsaare. There is a parking area near the lighthouse.
Public Transportation
To reach Kiipsaare lighthouse using public transportation, start from Kuressaare. Take a bus heading towards the town of Orissaare. Buses run regularly, and the trip will take about 30 minutes. Once in Orissaare, you can either take a taxi (which may cost around €15-€20) to the lighthouse or check if there are any local shuttle services that go directly to Kiipsaare. Buses may not run frequently, so check the schedule in advance.
Walking
If you are already near Kiipsaare, you can opt for a scenic walk. From the nearest bus stop in Kiipsaare village, the lighthouse is about a 3-kilometer walk. Follow the road leading out of the village, keeping an eye out for signs directing you to the lighthouse. Enjoy the beautiful surrounding nature as you make your way there.
