If you are traveling by car, head towards Kuressaare from anywhere in Saaremaa. Follow the main roads, and you will be on the Saaremaa main road (Route 10) that leads directly to Kuressaare. Upon entering Kuressaare, follow signs to the city center. The address is Lossihoov 1, which is located just off the main road. Parking is available nearby, but be sure to check for any fees.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transport, take a bus to Kuressaare from any major town in Saaremaa. Buses frequently run from places like Kuivastu or Orissaare to Kuressaare. Once you arrive at the Kuressaare bus station, it's about a 15-minute walk to Kuressaare linnus. Exit the bus station and head towards Lossihoov street, following the signs to the castle. Make sure to check the bus schedule for return trips, as they may vary.
Walking
If you are staying in Kuressaare or nearby, walking to Kuressaare linnus is a pleasant option. From the central square of Kuressaare, head northwest towards Lossihoov.
