From Kuressaare, the capital of Saaremaa, head south on the main road (Route 10) towards Sõrve poolsaar. Continue on Route 10 for about 22 kilometers until you reach the junction for Route 79. Take a left onto Route 79 and follow the signs towards Sääre. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will arrive at Sääre. Sõrve poolsaar is located near the coordinates 57.905926, 22.0517774, just off the main road.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Kuressaare to Sääre. The bus station in Kuressaare is located in the city center. Check the local bus timetable for routes heading towards Sääre. The journey will take around 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Sääre, Sõrve poolsaar is a short walk away, approximately 1.5 kilometers from the bus stop. Follow the road signs leading to the coast.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Kuressaare and ride to Sõrve poolsaar. Follow Route 10 south from Kuressaare, and then take Route 79 towards Sääre. The total distance is about 30 kilometers from Kuressaare to Sõrve poolsaar. This route is scenic, passing through beautiful landscapes and coastal views. Make sure to wear a helmet and bring water for the ride.
